Hello hello. So this past week I went to Florida with a friend of mine and on said trip I discovered the wonderful store Cotton On. For those of you that aren't aware, Cotton On is a clothing store originating from Australia. While in Florida I went to not one, but two stores which was a direct result of my lack of self control. Yikes.
Anyways, I bought loads of new items for both summer and for winter. The summer wear consisted of two pairs of "paper bag" flowy shorts, two pairs sunglasses (one a slight cat eye the other were circular), a light cotton t-shirt, and a white nylon tight bodice flowing skirt dress. I also got a white crop top which works with any sort of high waisted bottom you may like, I personally like simple crop tops with high waists because it allows the bottom half of your outfit to shine! All of the pieces are lightweight and versatile which will prevent me from sweating like a little piggy anytime I walk outside.
Now for the winter wear, my favorite part! Something to know about me is that layers are key in my wardrobe. At any given time I can be found wearing literally four different shirts. Its ridiculous. I got two oversized mens sweaters in mustard and maroon, perfect warm colors for fall and winter. Also, if you're like me and like your sweaters to be on the larger side, look in the mens section of whatever store you're in. That's what I did! Next, I got a cute knitted beanie with a floppy yarn ball thing on the top, perfect to keep my ears warm in the cold months and a printed scarf. Another style I love is denim, denim, denim. Rolling with that lovely little principle, I got a tie dyed oversized jean button up that would go perfectly with my white dress from the summer section! Another jean piece I bought was a lightweight oversized jacket of sorts with a sewn in gray hood.
With all of the pieces that I bought I made sure they could be used at any time of the year, cold or warm. By doing this I save myself time and money which could used toward other things....like Chipotle. Or concerts. Oops.
Any whozzle I'm watching The Hills currently and its so much more interesting now that I realize how truly catty the show is. It's like a free MMA fight minus the body slams and sweaty men. So technically its nothing like an MMA fight but its just as riveting.
Alright that's it for me today, I am off my friends.
